Action, lifestyle and wildlife photography at the cutting edge - a new found passion for heart felt photography
I have been interested in photography since I can remember. I purchased my first camera, or real camera when I was in San Francisco going to the Culinary Acadamey to become a chef. It was strictly emulsion back then but the joy of the image was overwhelming to me. I can always remember loving to see how things work and how this thing could capture light. My love for photography grew from there.
When I returned home in early 1985 from San Francisco I had no idea where it would take me and continued my career as a chef. Working for almost 20 years in the hospitality industry my interest was re-kindled again working for large corporate food chains and having to conduct photo shoots for LTO's (Limited Time Offers). It has been this joy of nature, patterns, people and action that draw me day to day to this hobby, photography. I love the moment you capture an image or action shot, the subtlety of a great food shot that makes your mouth water or a special look on someones face. The world is a great place and I for one love living in it.
